Lucy..

...isnt the first Pavement reunion show about the time I start working as your 'camera bag carrier'?

Gold Panda and Mike Diver rule

facts.

Shame Southampton are rubbish though Mike.

Malta football top?

awesome.

b) Napoleon III

lets wrestle

lets fucking wrestle!

KASMS KASMS KASMS

all i want i want to bone all of you

Plimsouls..

Million Miles Away is definitely one of the Plimsouls songs but I know there is one more which is better...can't think whats it called though! D'oh!

Haha

We're expecting lots of Geography teachers to buy the mini-album for the art work..

lets change a William track to denote our new Southside status

"South of the river..."

We are totally Northsided - but fundermentaly FFS is a band from Nottingham and Stoke via Norwich + a side order of Malta/Brighton/Herts. You'll never pin us down we are like that Nomadic afro-beat band but we've got a Feista instead of Camels!

Thanks for all the encouraging words y'all!! More pontential fulfiling to come..

Is that comment about Aliens...

....liking Obama a bit racist?

I can't beleive either of them

didn't pick Presidents Of The United States of America

Racism is very bad.

But i've got to admit the thought of all these bands involved in a mass skuffle(even though thats not what happened)feels me with joy!..If only Henry Rollins was there.

..

I second pretty much all these comments! Great band - not much like Foals at all.

Lets stop hanging out?

.

One of few english bands to..

...play in Malta I believe.

Wintermute..

..are great.

That is rubbish

I bet they had some really cool equipment too.

ANFIELD RAP IS THE BEST

Hows he doin the jamican rap?
He's from just south of the Watford gap
Gives us stick about the north south divide.
YEAH they've got the jobs
BUT WE'VE GOT THE SIDE.

Best fact about the Anfield rap is that use a sample from Straight Out Of Compton.

If they're fun...

..so is AIDS

Good Review

These people make my fucking ears bleed in a very painful and bad way.

Amazing band..

..this is a sad day.

Kaputt!

Snuckleputzhen!

$$$$$$

Cha CHING ch CHING
No need to do second albums now for these bands...unless the deal is more like the episode of the Simpsons were Mr Burns is after Marge and kidnaps Tom Jones.

It's really good to see their hard work paid off..

BIG UP JOHN "BOOSTERHEAD" WOOD too!

I for two was disappointed

that this turned out to be about the Futureheads and not Favours For Sailors

Leeds has an amazing scene..

..I was lucky enough to play a gig in Leeds in the summer with these guys. They are tighter then a seat on Ryanair. Sadly Dave the guitarist supports Wolves.

How many bands are splitting at the moment!?

I have been fortunate enough to spend a bit of time at Justin Lockey's studio which is like Phil Mitchell's arches and some of the things they have achieved would make any of the Premiership's billionaire owner's wallets winch thats for sure!

To Tin Soy Cut

I don't think its worth us getting all high and mighty with any "Sell out" business..they should of changed their name to Sonic Elderly a while ago anyway and this sort of shit happens to all the 'big' bands eventually. They've done pretty well going for 30 years and not doing it so much.

wooooooh......

.....Epideme rock.

This will be fun...

...I can't make it. For anyone that does go; demand a speech from Favours for Sailors's drummer, Metin... Guarenteed hilarity!

i'd always just assumed...

...that he was hooked on tixy lix

...

I've heard this album (although it applies more to the band) reviewed in a two-word manner ala Spinal Tap on The Fly Magazine 'Joe's Room' podcast by Noddy (a comic legend) as: "Abortion Specialists". In the age of Anti-Bush that may seem like a good thing but I doubt they'll be using this to soundtrack any antinatal classes.

Leave my nan alone!...Nanny J loves her purple rinse

That is a very good call. Bravo!

' Boris ' are playing in London in June

Fri 08 Jun at London Barden's Boudoir. One for the diary as the bill is looking good already.

Wanker..

..too easy.

I saw them at the Kentish Town Forum

they played the songs from Spiderland note perfect...what more could you ask for? As for the songs from Tweez, i'm not really sure if they use any notes or not :P

Im not so sure about your team...

...its hard to pick a football team from musicians imagine the expense of all the hairbands and alice bands for a start.

GK - Wayne Coyne (as long as he wears his big 'on stage' hands)

DL - Paul McCartney (lef handed so Im making the presumption he would be left footed too)

DR - Pete Townsend (any young players wont go near him)

DC - Kris Novoselic (tall)

DC - Danny Carey (tool)

HoldingMid - Henry Rollins (he wears shorts like a classic 80's hardman - imagine his tackle(s))

Left Mid - Jim Hendrix (outstanding flair and pace)

Right Mid - Mark E Smith (his style of play is slightly confusing, he'd probably attempt to run back to his own goal before rounding all 11 players of the other team but the end product is magic)

Creative Mid - Richard D. James (acid has opened the doors of his on field vision so much so he'd be making passes that would set goals up in next round)

FC - Kurt Cobain (sorry about this one - but Kurt is fantastic at shooting)

FC - Jon Wood (4 or 5 Magicians) (he's got more tricks then a box of monkeys and is great at aggrovating 8 year olds at the park)

aaaagh

I saw them for the first time last week at Brixton Windmill...the bill hadn't been that good (including my band) and I didn't really know what to expect.. I was ready to get a move on but after just one song my jaw had hit the floor. You are right Beadman, they are a band that make you wonder why you bother because they seem to have a monopoly on energy, rocking and all out mentalism.

...

...he is literally everywhere. He is putting Bird Flu's mobility to shame.
