But on a serious note I totally agree with this review its a very dissapointing departure for the band.

is the festival to go to. I just really hope we have more in line with Bjork, LCD, M.I.A. and Bat For Lashes and less of Newton Faulkner and Primal Scream.

im also looking into Roskilde this year and I hope supersonic is good again this year.

This is quite literally one of the best articles Ive ever seen on DiS. Very good idea. Im looking forward to seeing more DiSband's.

Also, I think he cameacross very well. Fair pplay for saying that Collective, newsom et al are serious and Hadouken are just a party band. They are good at what they do and its nice to see he is still pretty humble about it.

Glad they got to release their best album before they split.

but they were better at Reading and their own shows. The Go! Teams sound was horrible so I hardly enjoyed their set tbh. Bjork, MIA, Bat For Lashes and Aereogramme made it for me.

I was wondering whether you guys would go to this festival and im glad to see it get such a good write-up. Me and a couple of friends made the trek up from cornwall and let me tell you that after the huge dissapointment of festivals over the summer (Reading, im looking at you) this was a great way to end on a high. It was very refreshing not to have to deal with the somewhat loutish behaviour of some festival goers. However I am suprised that none of you saw Modest Mouse on Saturday?

Good work though. See you next year.

everything written is from Leeds however the days are for reading....plus you have the animal collective on saturday when they were on sunday. You also managed to miss the mark on a lot of the best acts of the weekend. (MASTODON, where you actually there?). To be honest after reading the 7 page drivel about kaiser chiefs printed in the crack-riddled pages of this weeks NME I expected some sort of well written concise review from DiS but instead we have people who would much rather resent Franz Ferdinands headlining status than write more than 4 lines on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (who were absolutely electric btw). Rant over.

of Kaada, Mike. He is an outstanding artist and seems to STILL be very unknown.
