Well done lads!

Enjoy the scran.

Bravo

Wonderful Stuff.

I'm

enjoying it immensely on first listen. It sounds like a mixed bag to me...elements of Domestica and The Good Life's raunchier moments.

Exactly

Anyone who considers this Idlewild's weakest moment is beyond moronic. Fucking GREAT album, GREAT feature.

Read Nick Southall's Article

then you will.

Go Schlarkin!

Congrats you lovely little devils x

Oh and...

Great feature!

Bubblegum

Is certainly my favorite Lanagen record to date...

Tragic

Really, really horrible news...sorry guys. This Et Al were unbeatable live, I lost my mind many a time.

Muse!?

Utterly baffling. This is a great album, to compare it to Muse is beyond absurd.

Pulled Apart By Horses

Were easily my band of the day, although I think I may be paying the physical consequences of being in that room now...it was like some kind of tazmnian devil rampage.

That ridiculous riff at the end Of focker

Just SHREDS.

Bathroom Gurgle

has to be the single of last year too. Puzzling review.

A) Yo La Tengo

No,

They won't recieve 1m when they're dropped! There was no cash prize for the show, other that the 60 grand advance (which is recoupable should they sell a fuck load of records). The ''1m'' record deal was a great big schtinker of a lie claiming A&M were to invest a six figure sum into the winners of the show...obviously NOT the case unless the first single took off with the very little promotional effort given...I suppose they thought the promo was already done with the show.
Although it's great that Envy are speaking out over their mistreatment from A&M, I find it hard to feel sorry for them...they put their hand in the lion's mouth after all...

Does no-one remember

the AWFUL performance of 'Postcards from Italy' at Glastonbury? I watched it in horror on TV as he struggled to strum his ukelele, slurred the lyrics, went out of time and stumbled into his mic stand. You could see the rest of the band were putting on very fucking brave faces...

That is

quite unbelivable! Forced to cover a song you don't even know by your label!? Jesus Christ...

This Et Al

Support at Leeds Cockpit on Sat. Rock etc...

I didn't see The Debuts

but have loved them every time I have. I think Zandra's lack of motion is probably part of the act...I find myself drawn to her stillness.

Laura was just fucking mindblowing...one of the best performances I've EVER seen.

'The Barbarians...'

Is STUNNING.

NO WAY!

REALLY!? Best/funniest news EVER!

He's

A cross between the pepperami monster and a human fucking cheese string. Die, you stupid fucking veruca.

We did it ourselves

with our producer, James Kenosha...

O.K

So I probably should've tken some time with that one...at least you didn't manage to respond with anything remotely amusing.
'The point still stands'? Well this question still stands - Why would you waste your own time reading a conversation between two bands that you hold in such low regard and then bitch about not enjoying it afterward!?

Your Posts

are fucking duller than John Major's taste in neck wear.

I thought

It was a more than decent read. I know it can be hard being seventeen at times, y'know, having to keep up that constant facade of louche negativity and cynicism, but sometimes a bit of light heartedness and fun can be good for the soul!

That's so funny...

We recorded with Youth and it was 'Imagine you're playing on the main stage at Reading Festival, inbetween Editors and Bloc Party...are people gonna jump about to this!?!?'. He could obviously never see us headlining!

I don't

think it's such a shit idea, to merit great visual artistry, but some of the sleeves chosen make the whole thing a fucking joke. This could be great if they picked original and inspired ideas and chose to reward them rather than photos of fucking motorways and powerstations with some uber-modern bold font in capitols over the top...how profound.

£150

Not really much at all though is it!? A band needs at least that much guaranteed per gig to make a tour break even.

I actually

find the way Arctic Monkeys go about things pretty refreshing and their music is infinitely more tolerable than The Enemy's exercises in Weller worship. Can't see much of a connection between the two other than the type of people they appeal to. The Enemy are just TRAD as fuck...

That

Would be pretty hard...

Not sure...

...if I like the new recording as much, the vocal distortion and double tracking have gone, maybe a bid to sound less like the fall??? Anyway, one of my favourite tracks of the year next to Bathroom Gurgle.

I love baloons...

...much more than Hummer...

I think Yannis

...comes across as pretty dilligent and honest in reviews...It's not as if he slates anything that is actually GOOD.

Ace live too...

...I want a JUMPER!

Well Nu (G)Rave...

.

Then...

...managing to spell 'Enemy' wrong. I imagine members of said band are still making the same blunder.

Paul is...

...a great guy and a gifted songwriter.

LOL!

'Q: If I weren't a musician I'd probably be a (fill in the blank) because (fill in the blank).
A: Serial killer, because I love to kill people. '

Stonewall classic. P.R for dummys?

I saw them support...

...These New Puritans at The Fav in Leeds and was pleasantly suprised...especially as I was never partial to Les Inc. The tunes on myspace are pretty good too...

Boil a thimble...

...in a kettle and stick it straight on the end. Or over it.

The...

...New stuff I've heard sounds HUUUGE.

Look guys...

...if you think this is gonna be some 'let's all do a whip round for the boys, hands in pockets' style affair (see - Smashing Pumpkins, Stooges, Pixies) then you really know fuck all about Blur. There will be NO BRITPOP. What there will be is Damon smoking a tonne of weed in the studio whilst El Coxo melts people's faces off with every FX pedal invented. I hope...

Album of...

...last year.

That's because...

...she's better than the rest of the nominees!

As did Suede's,

most of them we're on two formats too, so that's four new tracks per single! Also, Coming Up's non-single tracks were of great quality too...'By The Sea' and 'Picnic By The Motorway' in particular. Coming Up is much more than a half-decent record...

Sorry

that was for 'wish Carl-Panzram.

I Dearly Hope...

...That karma exists and that it rears and bites down it's ugly aids-rabies ridden tooth directly onto your fat lip.

Oi Jim!

You got any copies of your comp left? I want 'Free Adam Innocent'. I'll even pay hard cashish...or cock. Owexn
