One Reading, Jarvis Cocker deejayed at Rivermead, I think on the Saturday night. It was AMAZING and there were only about 100 people there.
Thursday nights at Rivermead pre-Reading though are generally shocking.

stuff was stolen from tents, but to be fair, maybe not by festival go-ers. The camping areas at Truck aren't the hardest to get into.

I would be interested to know who you consider to be 'serious' bands.

The toliets in the main area at Truck were so much better than I'd expected. the state of the PortaPottys makes a big (read: slight-medium) difference to my festival enjoyment.

Also, getting a programme and band-timetable included in the ticket price at Truck is ace (cf £12 for a programme full of press photos at Reading. Are you reading this Mean Fiddler? Well, ARE YOU?)

To be fair, this was one of the most fun nights we (The Schla La Las) have ever played. I would strongly advise y'all to get down to the next one and arrive early; the cucumber and marmite sandwiches are divine!

now I come to think of it, it might actually say 'Brian Jonestown JACKET' or something like that....

All I know of them is the graffiti 'I love Brian Jonestown Massacre' which is carved into the door of the ladies bathroom at the Buffalo Bar..
