the truth is that you almost certainly read every single word i wrote because, lets face it, you write this stuff to get a response.

and it's silly talk to believe that like-minded people might respond positively to this kind of thing without being part of some kind of imagined indie superleague that lord over everyone else.

so what if Brainlove writes about people he knows? aren't people allowed to be proud of their friends and write about them if they believe they deserve it? it's not exactly like he's scoring an album out of 10 here which might be considered biased. he is simply saying "hey, i know most of you probably already know about this but i really like this band. you might like them too."

also you might want to change your username to something like 'idontmuchcareforbrainlove' because you must waste a lot of your time writing the exact same comments here every other day so you might as well make it easier on your self and advertise you distain with every single message you grace us with.

I checked at work (HMV) today.

as wi-fi and such becomes available in more and more public spaces. all those frequencies taken up by terrestrial signals will be free soon too which i think could be used for this. potentially a portable spotify player (or already established player with spotify compatabilty) could be made and be the best thing to possible have for music by default.

also the musicians win out with this versus downloading for free right? no quality issues or guilt for listening for free = winner.

or am i overly optimistic?

untill recently i was sceptical but after using it for a short while now i'm very much impressed.

of course physical music is important to me for stuff i really really like.

might not have been the best album overall but overture and accident & emergency are my 2 most favourtite Patrick Wolf songs so it was pretty snazzy in my books.

earlier this year and i was completely blown away by his set which was mostly comprimised of new material. he was well into it that night though, so that might have had an effect.

it's not groudbreaking, but i like it and i'd wanted to make one for ages.

the first issue maybe only 4 pages long but there was a lot of glue and paper due to lack of double-sided photocopies being available.

i'm making another issue at the moment.
