as much as i love the old stuff, and as influential as its become, there's something so special about the new stuff theyve done since they come back that just gets me.

jeez, this getting silly now! But got MBV ATP coming up that has the sickest line up ever. I'm sure Pavement one will be great too, but theyll be playing regular london dates, may have to leave it at that. Am intrigued by who theyll pick tho..Damon Albarn?! Heh

Mogwai were great despite the volume issue. The whole day seemed to be let down by sound being too quiet or not good. Field Day does seem doomed at times but iv been to each one and no doubt will be back next year. when they keep putting on such great lineups its hard not to be tempted for 30 quid.

its the album i feel in love with them for. the first ep on fatcat didnt leave my stereo when it came out.

gotta love J mascis. Dino Jr were fantastic at the recent Mojo awards show at the Forum. They sounded energised, like they were really enjoying themselves.

Moose's classic Jack should be there. I remember seeing them support Verve at ULU.
