p
Congrats to them for a big 'fuck you' to the record companies that were wetting themselves in anticipation of signing them up to release this.
I've paid a fiver, not because I'm cool, or stupid, but because I respect the artist, and I respect the idea. Now stop beeing freeloading cunts the rest of you.
Lovely review
my favourite bit
"you can recreate the effect of this song quite easily by gate-crashing any freshers’ week pub crawl and listening to some gelled-up 18-year-old gobshite from the Home Counties crunk on three Apple Sourz talk about how Timmy Mallet is a “legend, an absolute legend”.
there's nobody more smug
than Kev Kharas, and he wasn't even in The Smiths.
Never has one man
made me want to pound his face into mush more than that frontman (whateverhisname).
It's everything about him, but especially the way he moves. The way he breathes.
Stars of CCTV was music for people who don't like music, and I reckon this is probably the same. But I won't be listening anyway.
It's a lovely album
delicious from start to finish.
Can't wait to see them live.
Because
Probably because a lot of people know Sigur Ros off of that Planet Earth theme one. Innit.
And besides, Sigur Ros are better.
I liked it at first
but it didn't grip me.
After several listens, I've now decided it's excellent. Some of the best stuff they've done is on there....and it's a vast improvement over Antics.
but
Blackpool Empress is a good venue imo....cheap beer and a day out at the seaside, though it will be absolutely freezing in November.

Little Boy (1945- Future) also deserves a mention for rocking like fuck as well. I like this a lot.
