AHHHH
loving the Ronson and the Fare, but i have to disagree furiously with your view on the Drake. that song is abysmal beyond belief.
18 hours
i've already spent 18 hours listening to this album and i'm still not tired. there is so much to it.
it feels like
based on the review, the score should have higher
but oh well
good review, good album
they aren't MMORPGS you sick fool! FF games are offline and focus mostly on plot and characters.
good grief!
i wonder
are there any truly good winter/christmas albums?
haaaa
it's brilliant. i'd like to go see them in Cardiff actually, but it's a little short notice....
good,
if i were to ever film a concert i would keep my camera on the band away from the crowd.
O!M!G!
i've loved both the Julian Casablancas album and the new Devendra Banhart album... since when did DiS start disagreeing with me so severely?!
Well,
I didn't much like their last record, but I'll give this one a chance. I have nothing against them being more pop now - I like pop rock - it's just I felt half of Puzzle's songs were plain DULLNESS.
i liked it
took a while, though
St Vincent
it's true, she far too pretty to be so profoundly talented, it's sick and wrong.
housse de racket have certainly got it going on
sounds like a bit of a giggle
i look forward to hearing it.
wow
i actually love it - the song and the video. really fun.
i need to find the time
to listen to all the videos/links you post. but i very much like that Kings Of Convenience song.
it's sick
i mean, Twilight is the ultimate form of trash, the books and the films. i can't believe there are so many quality artists on the soundtrack. shit's peculiar, yo.
well
even in the quote it says "not straight off" which i already presumed meant that they were going to make another album eventually :S
I hated Dirt
it made me feel kind of sick somehow
wonderful
this weekly article (or whatever it might be called) is always my favourite aspect of Drowned in Sound. *clap*
well
i wouldn't say this was better than the first Mystic Valley Band album, but it's certainly better than Outer South.
and, i'm loving Conor's more mature style lately. i hope he can bring it to a solo album in which only he sings.
i'm unfamiliar with My Morning Jacket.
Ooooh
i've been waiting for this.
Huh
I got their greatest hits album, a few years ago when I was going through my grunge phase (10 years too late), but I really didn't like it. It just depressed me. Dinosaur jr and Nirvana were where it was at.
But maybe... I'll check this out. Maybe...
Question:
are there any genuinely good remix albums?
i've never listened to one myself, but they always seem to get low-ish reviews.
i knew
that this album was going to get an 8
i like her
and, i'm pretty sure everyone is exaggerating the poshness of her voice. i live in Devon and know a few people who talk like her and they're not rich at all...
guitar hero
was always a boring videogame. i genuinely never understood the appeal.
i've never even heard of her
guess i should check her out
I can't get into Wild Beasts
usually, i love weird vocals, but the singer's voice just plain irritates me.
this would have interested me
i love it
well, i've only listened the first song so far, but i really love it
Teignmouth looks nothing like that.
it's a shit hole.
n____n
there are so many albums coming out in late september/october/november that i'm waiting on...
subtle
i like it
i completely agree
with every single aspect of this review, which is a rare thing

I can pretty much always count on this website to agree with my feelings towards albums, making me feel rather less on my lonesome
