The money taken wasn't one nights fee, but the takings from the whole tour up to that point. It was also closer to 2000 Euros, but it pretty much wipes out any profit we may have made on the tour.

We feel pretty stupid to be done by such a scam, but once we'd pulled over the ball was rolling. It all seemed pretty dodgy, but we didn't see too many options out!

Anyway, we're all fine, and putting a brave face on it. It could have been much worse.

The Russian's new album is superb. It hasn't come out of my CD player for a couple of weeks now.

I have a feeling that most of their songs are about episodes of CSI, and almost as long. This is unconfirmed.

I'd just like to note that we have no skills behind the decks, and that this will be an interesting experiment. That is all.

their rise has been pretty organic to be fair. We played with them a couple of years ago infront of 20 or so people. They have released a few 7" singles on Dance to the Radio, built up a fan base and thats the long and short of it.

I'm afraid that Bikini Atoll have had to pull out of SiGNAL FAiLURE on Thursday night.

In their place we bring you the very brilliant Shut Your Eyes And You'll Burst Into Flames (http://www.myspace.com/shutyoureyesandyoullburstintoflames), and twisted folk troubadour Lupen Crook (see www.myspace.com/lupencrook).

There will still be chess and short films, and a performance by iLiKETRAiNS.
