bloody hell

I didn't realise this hadn't been released over here yet.

Great band, great album.

bloody hell

good review

I enjoyed muchly.

the RIAA...

...still trying to close the digital stable door, long after the binary horse has bolted.

^ this

sums up exactly how I feel.

are you saying Dean Samways is not your alter ego

for getting cosy with hot musicians. Are you REALLY saying that?

He did the beat?

Um...it's not that great is it.

I put on Loveless for ther first time in years yesterday

and the first thing I thought was: wow, Silversun Pickups.

Queens of the stoneRAGE

I finally saw Digg the other day..

it left me with the opinion that Courtney is a pretty duplicitous character.

That is incredibly shit.

Glad nobody was hurt though.

This was an utterly brilliant read.

And really cheered me up on a totally shit morning...nice work Dom.

I really don't see how anyone could think that the writer was baiting Anton at all. He clearly looks for an excuse to be outraged.

YAY!

fucking YAAAAY!

It's a great book.

I was thinking the other day Wintermute would be a great band name.

yep

they played a fucking stormer in Brighton.

Can anyone tell me

if there is any footage of Paul Tipler on the DVD?

great review

I haven't been so intrigued by a piece of journalism in a long time.

I. AM. THERE

booooo

:(

Poor Raz.

poor, poor Raz.

.

ace, this is my favourite song on the album.

you were loving Paramore at Download...

you were all like "this is the best band in the world!"

and I was like "really? You think?"

and you were like "YEAH"

um

not sure what your point is?

Ace

can't wait to hear this!

Rolo Tomassi

.

supported these guys last night...awesome sound live and ace lighting!

The Maccabees

are gonna have a great year methinks.

For Fans Of: Joy Division and Bloc Party....are you sure?!

It's my birthday in 2 weeks

I'm gonna cut and past that list and use it as my birthday list (crossing off about 10 / 15).

Nice work!

:D

Oceansize

fucking awesome.

he clearly meant

the country that is to the West of England.

It's geographers slang.

*run Colin!*

^^^^^^

this.

*

willing

.

hmmm. But they are will to caught them when they've got an album to sell.

I agree it'd be annoying, but that really comes with the fame. As well as a fleet of cars and several houses.

Did anyone see

that footage of Jay Kunt getting headbutted by a photographer?

Laugh? I nearly shat myself.

Madonna

put it away luv, there's a good gran.

Ah yes

once in a while DiS news throws it's readers a fetid carcass to toy with and maul.

RIP Arthur

Forever Changes is in my top 10 albums of all time.

I thankfully got to see him in action at the Scala - thanks to a tip off from DiS about a secret gig. Thanks Arthur and thanks DiS - was one of the best gigs I've been to.

I was a bit gutted

I had to pay to get into a couple of places (including 4 quid) for Metric.

But yeah it was worth it. I'll go next year if there's bands that I want to see.

they were ace!

didn't know what to expect, but I really enjoyed them. The lead singer is quite static when he performs, but the guitarists jumped around and sang along which made smile.

I was there

true story.

Metric, Komakino, Maccabees, Seeing Scarlet. Ace.

Quick! Police dogs! Run!

supported them on their Brighton gig, they were very good live - especially considering they were both pretty fucking ill!

I've listened to this album

sevral times and by the end I am so, so bored. I wanted to like it and "Your Ex Lover is Dead" is a great song.

The album is a yawnfest for me though.

Listen Diver

I don't 'but' anything. Ever.

Cool, I'll buy it when it comes out for sure...real shame the mag is closing down - I've only just discovered it thanks to you/this thread and google.

nice work on upping that score...*cough*9*cough*

p.ssst Send my the copy. I won't tell anyone, I promise...it'll be our dirty little secret.

hello IHATEU

are you one of those inbred types?

Diver

where can I get a copy of that interview?

That was the best gig I've ever been to. Passionate, joyous, angry, emotive, foot-stamping, arm-raising, heart-thumping, beautiful and perfect.

Great review Diver. I would've given it 10, but I am gay for The Constantines.

Re: DiS Disappearing For A Few Days

The Fall have an album out this Autumn? Ace.

DiS Disappearing For A Few Days

I think that man in the circle would be a cool logo, better than the anchor I reckon.

Re: Constantines - Tournament Of Hearts

all dates here; (they are supporting SK in Glasgow).
