aren't the type that would even attempt to wear something other than slacks though are they? I've never seen any blokes there on the cusp of cutting edge or any edge for that matter, it's all trousers and shirts...I think it's fair that they have certain standards for the event. It's one tradition that I don't see the harm in up keeping.

Beth Ditto has been the only woman to achieve that so far but then the cool list has only been running since...early noughties? In fact that year there were 5 (count em) 5 women in their top 5 which was pretty bluddy amazin'- think there was lovefoxx, karen o, amy winehouse, lily allen, and obv Beth. I remember reading it and not being able to stop smiling :D

The way I read it, they are saying that for some women, this is what they acknowledge - they don't have much money, they don't have a great background, whatever, and so they have an abortion and see it as being the right thing to do - that's their choice. As it is the choice of women in the same situation to keep it regardless of any lifestyle situation.
If they don't want a child for whatever reason, they can choose to have it aborted.

There has always been girls that shoplift, girls that are intimidating, girls drink and smoke and swear in their school uniforms...why is this coming out now?
I can't say I've noticed a rise in it tbh, if anything I've seen a reduction being in London - it's much worse in towns.

I've always found it hard to like him, he's constantly smug -it's bloody irritating.
