i dunno
there's an aldis that sells cartoonies. cartoonies!
hahahahaha
morecambe is awesome. um... go to the beach? look at the polo tower? have ice cream? i saw bob geldof at the dome once. it was, um, good. well, actually it wasn't but that's not really morecambe's fault. anyway, haha
'pissed off brian may'
would really be quite brilliant on your c.v.
this makes me sad.
their last album was one of my favourites of last year. 'pyrite pedestal' is truly awesome.
ha ha
yes. they spoke to me about this too.
downstairs i think
sometimes it's called club academy
i could be completely wrong
i like the fact
that there's a song called 'grinderman' on the album 'grinderman' by grinderman.
like, "what are you listening to?" "oh, it's grinderman, by grinderman which is on the album grinderman."
like black sabbath by black sabbath on black sabbath
ho hum
why
is it that bands like this always say "we're going to do something really different" when they quite clearly WILL NOT do anything that different, just the same rubbish.
nah
'no more shall we part' is excellent
how
could they ever work out how much it is they believe they are owed?
this is just silly and yes i agree that this is BORING (not a comment on the story itself but the general bollocks-y merry go round of people with lots of money arguing with other people with lots of money about lots of other money).
i want to be a dinosaur. ruff ruff ruff
kate goes are awesome. i saw them in manchester and carlisle and both times they were huge fun. even though the sound was a bit rubbish in carlisle they were still just ... brilliant. i can't think of any more fun new band i've seen/heard this year.
i think
it's only released on 7 inch and mp3. i wasn't sure i liked it as much as their other stuff at first but it has grown on me the more i've heard it, mostly live.
..
the best thing about this list is that it comes across as 'your list' and i'm sure my list and probably everyone else on this board's list would be different and would contain idiosyncracies and odd choices too. so well done for including all the albums that you lot love and for writing about them so enthusiastically
isn't
mike watt in spaced?
and he's in the stooges?
wow
at the drive-in is in the last six years?
ok, that can be in mine then
no idea
