and I what exactly does 'obvious' politics mean? Whats going on now and with the Middle East could said to be one of the worst catastrophies in the last fifty years. And we're (the UK) all involved. This is the closest to World War 3 that our generation has ever seen (and hopefully will ever see)and its our government taking us all along for the ride. I'd rather people were talking about this stuff than thinking that its all old news and we need to get on with something new. We can't move on till all this crap is over.

His polititcs. is. his. music. How did you not think that some sort of political discussion was gunna be involved. It thought he turned down his politics that night too. I think he realises that the kind of people that come to his shows are gunna be political themselves and bored to death of it anyway.

I still dont understand the 'more accessible critcisms too, this record is closer to Ride the Skies than Wonderful Rainbow, and if this is supposed to be accessible then Rainbow is lift muzak by comparison.

Hello I know this is a bit late, but I thought I should write anyway. For those of you that dont know I designed this thing with matt and Sean, although Sean just usually bitched about the thing not looking blue enough...! Im glad with how its turned out, but the biggest hand has to got to Matt fotr being the biggest code bitch and general genius one could ask for. He knows things that most of us will never fathom. Well done matt and Sean, am glad this is finally up and I think now was the right time to launch. As long as everyones happy with it thats the main thing. STOP MAKING PITCHFORK COMPARISONS. Like Sean says DiS was blue wayyyyy before them and now their site is predominently that colour. If Dis had been redesigned to keep the blue, then you might argue that it really really really does look like Pitchfork. (I think the site looks better than Pitchfork and their spray paint balls. If you really want to make a comparison, the pitchfork logo looks like the 'Strike Anywhere' logo.) Dis needed to move on, change is good, the site loads quickly and does what its supposed to. Function and good looks. You've got both. A lot of work has gone into this. on mine and matts part. I've tried to give the site some more personality in its identity, and try to represent the feeling of community and scene. The best thing has been Sean's,Colin's and T Judge's constant support for all this, and again Sean is totally right about the Pitchfork thing... It could be a lot worse (it almost was...) It could in some of your opinions be a lot better... and like all best independent communities it will get better, with all your help and constructive ideas. Thanks again for letting me do this Sean, and I hope you most of all are pleased with the look of the site. as are the rest of you. after all its you lot that really make it what it is. I hope ive done you proud. Simon
