A
Glastonbury Festival
amazing
they just don't stop churning out great music :)
A
The Past Is A Grotesque Animal
oh
they're all gone :(
number for macbeth box office?
this would be amazing
more than one band playing a night!
semifinalists new album is superb, i must catch them live
the password
london black keys, please
A)
Rock Bottom
absolutely awful review
but i do agree about the music
i was going to call my club night that
great minds think alike
but KOL have played late-on main stage slots for last 2 years
would it happen again?
I watched Jeremy Warmsley instead of the second half of the Chilis set, which was nice.
Rage and YYYs would be good.
indeed
particularly, i imagine, for someone with mozzarella sweaters as their dis name
i was thinking singing MIA in the shower
and i thought 'emmy's never done a headline tour'. then i read this. interesting story.
the demo
was way better
lol at the bit about James' dancing!
The thing with the Elle Milano review is...you only seem to have written about the song's you've heard before, rather than all the songs they played live (why mention the great gulf?!).
The new songs are fantastic, it's just that people haven't heard them yet, which is why they shout for older songs. This will all change soon.
YES!
This means I'm headed to the lovebox weekender!
SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE!
BLONDIE!
B-52s!
RAPTURE!
lots of other goodness...
We played at Industry before
there was a lot of reverb...that's all I can remember. But then again, there wasn't a crowd! So that would probably help the sound.
he came and danced with me for 2 seconds
he was very drunk
doubt i'll be at any of these
does this mean all of the venues at great escape start at 7pm? i was hoping it would be earlier.
ARGH!
no longer playing great escape, how much does that suck?!
saw the rakes at an instore in brighton yesterday
i couldn't see and there was no atmosphere and there was a horrible buzzing noise coming from the PA that they didn't fix :(
i only wanted to see alan's face
however i went to see peggy sue and the pirates that night and they were amazing. see them supporting kate nash on tour...
that's my birthday!
give me free tickets
ok thanks bye
I have the album sampler too
and OAP is the best song on it, not a single.
ooooooooooooooooh
it's gonna be good. and loads more bands to be announced...
Fluorescent Adolescent!
sounds new-rave-tastic to me!
i didn't like
the snippet i heard of this new album
songs sounding 'bigger' is generally not a good thing
hopefully it will still be amazing
i think it will work
because people aren't going to buy tickets off ebay now and risk having them cancelled
i saw
paris motel and mystery jets in churches. both were ace!
i don't mind so much about being seated for arcade fire actually, it's kind of nice. for the mystery jets i danced in my seat.
i did..
tell you all already!
excellent news!
oh i sure hope people dance like madmen to 'iggy'
my friend's going to be so jealous.
so...
i was right about the headliner then :)
surely...
it'll be djs till 2?
bands will probably end earlier no?
got mine now :)
ah the excitement of waiting to hear who the headliner is, it's like xmas.
i'd be happy with jeremy headlining anyway. i'm sure goodbooks will be fun as well
wooo!
.
damn
it's not ABBA?
guillemots?
just a guess...
guns or knives
can't say i've heard this song but he's really good.
old name was WAY better
but still...can't wait for this
i was upstairs for the pixies
but managed to get downstairs
get me
davros
joe (synth player) is the best thing about davros!
i've seen the winter kids a few times and it has always been fun. i think they'll go far, they've got that kinda commercial killers-esque sound. the b-side of this single is way better than the a-side.
i shall
also be at the guildford one :)
fell city girl
are soooooooooooo bad
i've seen them twice as well :(
new acoustic version
...of elizabeth is greatly improved. they played it at the syd barrett tribute concert.
scarecrows in the rain
is incredible. i also love elizabeth.
i danced on stage with the mystery jets at blissfields festival, it was so much fun! they're such nice people as well.
i saw them...
at electric gardens festival. they got really angry at the sound guy and stopped the first song and the singer shouted 'FUCKING HELLLLLLL' and i was actually quite scared. i left after that to see the young knives who are happy, nice people.
it's good...
but not incredible.
button button button
hmm
i like Jurassic 5
does anyone want to give me the names of the bigger/better things i should be moving on to?
snoop? 50 cent?!
