Bit gutted about this

How could one brother ditch his own for another band?! When I saw the 'lose a member' headline I automatically assumed it was Garza that left. Very strange, and a shame. But at least they're starting work on the third album, looking forward to that.

I have no clue why

But I'm really happy for Take That's comeback success, fair play to them. And Shine isn't shite but I'll tell you which song is, it ryhmes with "booby booby booby boobies".

What the hell does it matter if KC are the lesser of two evils

They're still fucking evil!

Tell that to Diver

who seems to be ecstatic that Ruby is at number 1.

I don't know what is worse

That Mika song or the Kaiser Chiefs effort.

Everybody all together now

WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK!

Looking forward to this very much

Don't let me down lads!

Dull Dull Dull

Beyond comprehension.

This band kicks arse

Space rock at its finest.

Noel is about as funny as Jim Davidson

Liam isn't as funny as Jim Davidson.

^ Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

so true.

Nice

I'm always up for a bit of pirate music.

Who wants to bet they don't get to number one this week?

They are currently 2000 sales ahead of Mika but he's gonna overtake them come Sunday.

Glad you included Make This Your Own

Such an undervalued album, I'm the only one who considers it a classic :( The Shins and Klaxons albums are ace aswell.

10 out of 10 is a joke

It's one of the most repetitive albums I've heard. His voice gets headache inducing after only two tracks. 10 out of 10, mercy me.

This review is way off the mark

The only 'dud' on this album is Dive In. Otherwise it's a fantastic album, really brought to life by Genn's passionate delivery. His emoting feels so genuine, he makes Icaurus and I Miss You truly devestating while Ali In The Jungle and People Say are uplifting and inspiring. Comparing them to Keane is plain lazy. Fantastic band, fab album, I hope they make it big this year.

Thats cool, I'll be sure to watch it

I agree with DiS on the new album, it certainly is good stuff. My fav song at the moment is Ghost In The Arcade.

You're fucking kidding me!

They didn't even give the nation a standard years break from them. They'll be clogging up the music channels and radio stations all over again. Bastards. At least the Kaiser Chiefs had the common courtesy to dissapear for a year or so.

Too bloody right

I don't know what else to say apart from Mika sucks and his music sucks.

I tip my hat to you Dan

That is one of the best reviews I've ever read, although I don't entirely agree with it. I've been singing the praises of Make This Your Own everywhere so I won't rave about it much here. Just want to say I've been a fan of TCTC since the release of KUTF and personally, I couldn't ask for a better follow up.

I still love the rain band

That is all.

Every band has a myspace page

even The Rain Band have a myspace page and they split up three years ago.

I LOVE THIS BAND

Raise The Alarm is a tremendous album. However they aren't in anyway new rave.

I'm definitely going to see them on this tour

Contrary to the negative reviews I think Make This Your Own is a fantastic album and the first classic lp of 07. They only got scorned for it because half the album takes on more of a mainstream sound. Oooooooh big woop! Head is a quality song, one of the highlights, terrific choice for next single.

I'm really liking this record

Amid all the chaos and havoc there is a big dollop of fun and charm injected into every song. A strangely feel-good album.

Ruby - Worst single of the year so far

Utterly devoid of any passion, charm, emotion or coherent chorus.

YEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!

Gimme Gimme Gimme. I want this album bad.

The Invitation is an immense album

Absolutely fantastic stuff. I hope this next album is even more epic and windscreen.

Best album by them yet

Makes for glorious listening.

Generous rating

It's plods along contently doesn't it.

Timbaland?!

I wish that guy would fuck off! Pardon my french.

I absolutely cannot wait for the album

which John Earls of Planet Sound has labelled as "the first classic lp of 2007". I've heard four tracks from it and so far I agree with him.

I'm a label starter, twisted label starter

Who is that bloke in the middle of the picture? The ghost of Mr Benn.

Couldn't she have flipped the bird with her other hand aswell?

Then we wouldn't be able to see her face. Ugly as sin.

Bloody hell!

I was expecting this song to get a really positive review. Imagine my shock when I look down and see the little numbers only highlighted to 1. I swear DiS, you catch me off guard every time.

Hmm

I can't see how Mika is much worse than Jamie T to be honest.

I can't stand this guy

He sounds just like Lily Allen!

Really really good album.

Barriers is tremendous. Possibly the best song I've heard so far this year.

Monster Hospital is so so so SO good

So why can't I immerse myself into anything else from the album? Lord knows I've tried.

Kickass band

Better than Clap Your Hands and Spinto? Oh yes.

WOW!

Is that Napolean Dynamite on the left of that picture?!

Whats with all the hostility towards Take Comfort?

It's an excellent song! It shows the cooper troopers can even pull of an acoustic country-esque track successfully. The fact that its placed before All I See Is You (TCTC's heaviest tune) is genius!

Why do they have Four Horsemen as the last track on the album?!?!

I'm a fan of the four singles released thus far but that song is appalling and the fact that it ends the album is like rubbing salt into the wound.

It's a grower, honest!

And it's hardly representative of the new album seeing as how every song sounds completely different to each other. Plus it's like the second worst song on Make This Your Own. Apart from one poor track and this the rest is absolute gold.

Well judging by the front cover of Ys...

...I would say his face is a definite improvement.

Wow, thats very insightful of you.

Yes I like Keane. That might be because Tom Chaplin doesn't have a voice similar to Spanky from The Little Rascals.

Yay, Aqualung are back!

Not a great band/artist(?) by any means but you're always guaranteed some quality tunes with each album.

I've tried to like it

but in the end I deem it unlistenable. Her voice man...eugh.
