I Know What You're Doing Tonight

Ah, Louie.

'Louie Louie' sang the Kingsmen 40-odd years ago, opening the doors for a million-and-one other DIY rock 'n' roll bands to follow suit.

And this is pretty much the same thing, only substitute 'Louie Louie' for 'What A Waster' and the Kingsmen for The Libertines and you've got another case of I'll lead, you get behind me. Although at least most of the new impostors have since manage to write some new words of their own to go with the same riff.

'I Know What You're Doing Tonight' unfortunately falls in that quagmire, and not even the dual vocal synergy of Gaz Tomlinson and Jordan Smith can save this from being anything other than average punk-pop fare.

Which is a shame because their earlier releases hinted at something more charismatic and innovative.
