Hell yeah! What a cool song! Despite punching the same pilgrims as The D4, or any other garage hopeful, this fuzzy-fuck fire monstrosity is a downright god-given beast. Or something like that. It’s a little hard to stay excited as the same song appears once again in a different leather jacket, but at least it isn’t Alfie folking down our bloody necks, and for that we should all be truly grateful. Pick it up while the fad is still around, it’ll be worth something when the nu-indie comes beating down our doors.

The Beatings - Bad Feeling

no, its shit.
its like britpop all over again. then a gash band only had to have a quirky character song to get into the top 20, now all you need's a fucking fuzz pedal. yeah, at least its not alfie. but thats like saying at least harold shipman wasnt like hitler.... well, mebbes not as extreme as that, but you get my point.
hopefully

The Beatings - Bad Feeling

ahh I saw the Beatings playing with Kinesis last night, and I was really expecting them to be shite and couldn't be arsed but... like... they were BRILLIANT! far too grimey and dirty for the barfly... woulda been better if y'could see the sweat condensing on the walls etc but they were totally not what i was expecting. almost icarus line-ish, but not quite. however having listened to the cd i think they must just be a live act really because his voice REALLY doesnt come across well on record.
