Yes indeed, Be Your Own PET own a great band name, a fantastically full-on focal point to the band and a whole lot of hair and DIY kudos. They are the Yeah Yeah Stripes, and they are not the greatest new band in the world. But they are fucking good.

'Damn Damn Leash' is a whirling headspin of a crunch-rock indie disco anthem, with a chorus that spins "round and around and around and round".... and it's got enough fiery young blood and anger for all those record company people to s-s-s-s-uck them dry.
