Dogs Die In Hot Cars: Godhopping

After the 'phffft' of their previous single, and last before their big-boy-now record deal, it's very pleasing to see Scotland's finest oddball indie poppers back on track.

'Godhopping''s verse bounces along like disco-funk indie before a giddy, candy-sweet chorus eats through your ears and stains your brain like a aural Wham Bar. It reminds DiS of 'Down Under' by Men At Work. This can only be a good thing if you're advanced enough to remove shame from your list of mental qualities and replace it with the part of your psyche that recognises undeniably good tunes.

What the hell is it about? I have no real idea, possibly TV presenters, glamorous women in high street bars maybe. It's irrelevant. Just shake it like a polaroid picture on your murky indie dance floors.

Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping

Me loves this track

Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping

For the past year i've been unable to stomach DDIHC, but this song is brilliant! as long as they don't flyer their t in the park performance so excessively this year, i may well become a fan...

Re: Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping

This song is awesome.

Re: Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping

it is good, massively 80's tastic - but that's not always a bad thing. The 2nd track on the single is a bit weak though.

Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping

I cannot stop listening to this song.
What an intro.
What a chorus.
My my my.
"because a hat is silly" heehee

Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Godhopping
