Johnny Ramone not dying

Former Ramones guitarist Johnny Ramone is NOT dying of prostate cancer, according to his wife Lydia.

A number of websites reported yesterday that Johnny's cancer - which he's had for some years - had worsened to the point where he was close to death. However, Lydia stated: "He's not dying. He was okay for years, and he's fine now. He's in the hospital, but he's not in ICU. And I think he may be leaving by tomorrow."

Johnny's doctor gave MTV further details about his condition, explaining that the guitarist had been admitted due to a complication arising from his cancer, but that he got through it. Johnny is expected to leave hospital very soon.
