Talking to DiS about the tour, singer Matt said: "We're looking forward to the insanity of it all, will be mad playing so many shows in only a few days, we like the idea of playing for free and roughing it on the floor of the shops and just hope kids will bunk off school for us! Looking forward to chilling in the evenings and rocking in daylight for a change"

Prior to that, the band are winding up their current tour. Dates still remaining are;

June
08 - LONDON Barfly (with My Awesome Compilation & Cars As Weapons)

The band will also play the Reading/Leeds Festival in August

'Stories' is out on June 14th as a double A side with 'Sunshine'.

The Holiday Plan go indie

they are awful.....

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

You're a knob.

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

...with a very poor name indeed

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

they rock maaaaaan!!!!!!!!

anyone heard the new single???...wow its great

The Holiday Plan go indie

they're great on ecord, but live, thye just don't quite reach the point marked 'orgasmic' -as Metallica once sung 'Sad But True'.

The Holiday Plan go indie

No, they suck. Why Reuben are putting themselves down to their level by agreeing to play with them is beyond me.

The Holiday Plan go indie

they rule...they are not an orgasmic live band (yet), but how many teenage bands are??? they've still been great when I've seen em...as for Reuben, totally average, not good, not bad, which is why after 3 years around no one cares. back a new horse.

The Holiday Plan go indie

Prism in Gt. Yarmouth? where the hell are they gonna sit?

The Holiday Plan go indie

both reuben and holiday plan are awesome. Though reuben had that orgasmic edge.

But Septembre...theres a band destined for big things

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

wow! i agree with you there like

seen septembre at Middlesbrough Music Live, absolutely amazing band, with great potential. The stage presence that guy has is unbelievable, i remember being really upset when Vex Red split, now i couldn't really care less...has anyone heard The Scenes???

...and Reuben, great band...lol

The Holiday Plan go indie

They were really good last night, best time I've seen them yet. Reuben also owned but nobody could beat Septembre, it's a Vex Red thing.

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

Charming Im allowed an opinion on this band surely. Dont tell me I havent seen them either because I have and they were poor.

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

If many name is poor then Your name is also fantastically poor, as is it stolen from the new PJ Harvey album.(the albums good the titles shite)

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

The Holiday Plan and Indie don't fit in the same sentence. Oh, and for all you disputing it, The Holiday Plan are a really good band with good songs and i can prove it....

When i went to see Billy Talent, THP supported and out of all the gigs I'd been to, they were the only previously unknown-to-me band that stuck in my mind.

They rock. Plain and simple. Sorry to those who don't/can't agree.

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

they are poor (ie lack orginality) that is my opinion.

The Holiday Plan go indie

Wern't they the ones that had to resort to winning their signing through a TV programme?

It's just an MTV form of pop idol isn't it?

The Holiday Plan go indie

Rock Box here I come! Still undecided about them after seeing them supporting Reuben... on record they sound typically "emo" to my ears, which is probably something to do with the American produces if you've been watching "Breaking Point". But live the were alot more raw and edgy... reminded me of Jetplane Landing. Which is A Good Thing. Capital A, capital G, capital T.
Shall try and make up my mind after seeing them again.

I don't mind them, but they didn't WIN their record contract, that's unfair. They didn't answer a couple of questions and send with an SAE. For any one that actually WATCHED the programme you can see that it was just what happened on the show is what happens when bands get signed, just being filmed. MTV did add a bit off drama and a competition element, I'll admit, but all the bands deserved their chance and worked hard for it. Good advice in it as well for anyone in a band. But Pop Idol, it isn't!

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

I'd go beyond poor and say that they are quite possibly the worst band I've heard this year thus far.

Emo is this year's nu-metal. The sooner it stops, the better.

Re: The Holiday Plan go indie

FUCK OFF! Sorry, but they are the best band I've heard this year, and I don't care if you think emo is the new nu-metal, there's a slight difference. Nu-metal was a bunch of wannabe rock stars whining about how their daddy's refused to give them everything they wanted as a teenager, and emo is actually about real feelings, about stuff that matters. They're a great band, great live, and also great guys too. So you can shove off.
