Andy Falkous ponders Future, decides the Left is where it's at

News just in ('cause we read it some other place): former Mclusky fella Andy Falkous has formed a new band, Future of the Left, with drummer Jack Egglestone. Whooooop.

The band - which also includes Kelson Louis Tregurtha Mathias, whoever he is - have been recording in a Cardiff studio, and the band have a MySpace page of course.

It's HERE. So have a look won'tcha?

Jon Chapple, another ex-Mclusky type, recently released his new album as part of Shooting at Unarmed Men. It's totally reviewed around here, somewhere... (here.)

Oh yeah, Jarcrew...!

Photo nabbed from band's MySpace page

Hooray!

"Today we saw a three-legged dog. It looked reasonably happy, considering."

Excellent.

woah

i was writing them a profile a second ago and someone else has written another profile on them whilst i was doing that, so i had to delete mine.

Monday = waste of time

Great news!

Although the songs aren't as convincing as I'd like them to be, but that surely will be the case, I'm sure.

Class!

The songs are pretty good and are bound to be amazing by the time the album comes around. The guitar and bass sound so angry!

I quite like the songs.

Will probably like them more when something is recorded 'properly.'

How different does Falco look though?!

ooh

i really like the first and last songs.

!

Jarcrew changed my life...well my cd collection anyway...

This can'tbe bad...I hope.

Also, this weird on the day my band wrote a song called "the drummer who became a jehovas witness". A reference.

just got my ticket

for the london barfly gig. booooooom ting!

Brilliant!

This has made my week.

My word...

...Falco with hair! He looks like Wolverine!
