Ash's Tim Wheeler has told online fans that the band's new album, 'Meltdown', will come packaged with a live version of the same record.
The not-so-young-anymore singer, who right now is probably filling his innards with the black stuff (it's St Patrick's Day after all), wrote on a webchat: "Yeah, there'll be a live version of the album on it too, pretty cool, eh."
He also confirmed that the second single from the album will be 'Starcrossed'.
In related news, Ash axewoman Charlotte Hatherley has apparently finished her solo album. What label it'll be released through is currently unknown.

Has anyone seen recent pictures of Tim and Rick? Oh dear is all I can say... Tim looks rather like he should be a lecturer.. possibly in English or photography.. the boho beardy kinda look... whilst Rick...looks like he should be in a motorcycle gang

Im actually really excited about the new album, at first I wasnt overwhelmed with the new single 'clones' but it has certainly grown on me and no one writes better pop-punk that Ash. Will be one of the albums of the summer!

I'm sure she's fragrant and all, but I can't see her solo album being that great.

Now, my memory ain't what it was, but there's a b-side to the first single off Nuclear Sounds that she wrote, and it kicks ass, big time.
