Tennent’s Lager has announced details of artists appearing at this year’s Triptych festival...

Them-there Scots often moan about the fact the music world is geared around London, but on from April 28th ‘til May 2nd all eyes will be on venues around Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen for the expanded 5-day festival of various musical diversions, Triptych.

Line-up highlights include Franz Ferdinand, Múm, Explosions in the Sky, Wire, Dangermouse, Fairport Convention, Fourtet, James Yorkston, Kaito, Kid 606, M.Craft, Modey Lemon, Mountaineers, Papa M, Sons & Daughters, To Rococo Rot, Trans Am, V-Twin, and about 200 more!

Anyone who hasnt seen explosions in the sky before should drop what they are doing and get their ass up to scotland. They are amazing.

Also seconded. Are Explosions in the Sky the best band in the world? Possibly. But i don't have to go to Scotland to see 'em, they're playing in London with Four Tet and the amazing Matthew Dear on April 30th at the Coronet. Bonza.
