Texan three piece head to the UK for dates.

Charalambides make beautiful, spacious psychedelic folk music in the vein of Espers and influential 70s group, Fuschia.

They bring the new album A Vintage Burden (Kranky) to our shores this July, with these live dates. DiS recommends you make the effort for this unique and incredible band.

As well as these shows, the band will also shoot to Minehead for this year's All Tomorrow's Parties: Nightmare Before Christmas festival, curated by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore.

no I haven't, sorry

I can't find them on Allmusic or Wikipedia. Any records or samples I should check out? I didn't mean to be all "you don't know the old stuff, I'm superior to you" I just don't really find Unknown Spin or Joy Shapes to be "beautiful" in the conventional sense of the word, or to sound much like Espers.
The songs I've heard from the new one sound ace though, I haven't bought it yet but will do very soon.
