1 'Help Me'
2 'God's Gonna Cut You Down'
3 'Like the 309'
4 'If You Could Read My Mind'
5 'Further on up the Road'
6 'The Evening Train'
7 'I Came to Believe'
8 'Love's Been Good to Me'
9 'A Legend in My Time'
10 'Rose of My Heart'
11 'Four Strong Winds'
12 'I'm Free From the Chain Gang Now'
The songs are taken from Cash's final recording sessions in 2003. Rubin made the following statement:
"These songs are Johnny's final statement. They are the truest reflection of the music that was central to his life at the time. This is the music that Johnny wanted us to hear."

Johnny Cash died on my stag night
sadprolefact -and sadly one of my old university friends asked me 'who was johnny cash'. Good god.
Hope he got his round
in first.
did he fuck
he kept spilling wine everywhere likein the Hurt video and saying over and OVER again "Good evening, Im Johnny Cash"
to be fair it was sad news when I found out
3/4 of my French class
had no fucking clue who Johnny Cash was. It made me feel a bit sad.
Reminds me
of when Joe Strummer died. I must've been in Year 9ish, and I came into school and was all, "OMG, Joe Strummer died!", but of course, nobody knew who he was.
When I said he was a member of a punk band called The Clash somebody had the NERVE to ask, "oh, are they anything like Green Day?"
Much like...
...last week when someone I was serving at work turned to her mate and asked "who the bloody hell's Desmond Dekker?".
The reply was something about "the Marmite advert bloke". Urgh.
