Bzzzzt...! report from 0032 hours, Jan 23rd. Ryan Adams fell off the stage during 'Shadowlands' at his Liverpool gig a couple of hours ago. He landed on the ground and was picked up by security, before leaving, clutching what looked like a badly-damaged arm (his own, not someone else's). The band played the rest of the song before the drummer announced "this might be our last show in a while."

Other than that comment, it's not currently known how badly Ryan has been hurt, but we'll keep you updated when more info comes in.

UPDATE: He's broken his left wrist and although, at time of writing this, this three UK dates haven't been officially pulled, it looks unlikely he'll recover in time.

You don't say.

The bloke is well-known to have a penchant for various mind-altering substances and copious amounts of alcohol. He's been cracking up for about 2 years now, how else do you explain his willingness to play the Des & Mel show?

Tuesday. He was singing live, but over a backing track. Mel said she thought he looked like Harry Potter due to the glasses. Neither seemed impressed. He was on straight after Lisa Riley.

des and mel is a quality show. not as good as trisha though.
also on the richard and judy show john lydon got a mention 'you know that punk has truely sold out when the lead singer of the main bands in the movement is going on im a celbrity' not an exact quote but that was the jist of it.
ryan adams looks like he should lay off consumption of substances for a while.
