John Squire Exhibition at the ICA
- Artists:
- John Squire »
Squire's paintings have adorned his solo work and releases by his former group, as well as other releases including the 'Help' charity album. The pieces, influenced by abstract expressionists, swiftly became synonymous with the Manchester/'Madchester' scene.
Entry to the exhibition is free to ICA members, and is open from noon until 7.30pm. The exhibition coincides nicely with the release of Squire's new album, 'Marshall's House', due on February 9th through North Country Records. Squire will perform at the ICA on the day of release (this show was originally announced for the Islington Academy - tickets already purchased will be valid).
A single, 'Room In Brooklyn', will be released on February 2nd. Whoop-de-f*cking-whoop.

But only if you show me yours.
You don't have to add * by the way - you can write 'fuck' and I won't be offended.
