Exceptionally rare tracks from Kurt & Co's first ever show available as mp3s...

Nirvanaclub has put online tracks from Nirvana's first ever show from March 1987 in Raymond, WA (US) from a House party at 17 Nussbaum Road. This was their first ever live show and featured Aaron Burckhard on drums. There's 2 songs which still have not been released officially. The sound quality ain't all that but the tracks are:

1. Downer (soundcheck)
2. Aero Zeppelin
3. If You Must
4. Heartbreaker (Led Zeppelin Cover)
5. How Many More Times (Led Zeppelin Cover)
6. Mexican Seafood
7. Pen Cap Chew
8. Spank Thru
9. Hairspray Queen

To get the tracks goto: http://nirvanaclub.com/xmas/.

In other Nirvana related news, Kurt's Journals are half-price in most of the sales - not that we entirely advocate buying them and destroying all the magic.

Dear God, spare us please!! No-one cares - they're old songs, crap sound quality.....why bother!! Stop squeezing every single drop of juice out of them, for God's sakes!

Re: Nirvana: MP3s of First Ever Gig Online

Well... they're free - if we had been made to pay for them that would be different.

By themselves they're not particularly exciting, but I've just read the book 'Heavier Than Heaven' which describes the party in question (chaos, basically) and it was quite funny to hear it after that.

Re: Nirvana: MP3s of First Ever Gig Online

Actually, considering it was their first gig, they don't sound too bad. I've seen plenty of bands who sound worse than that.

thanx for the concert download
like a trip down memory lane to 10 years ago when i was in grade 9 and thought gathering nirvana bootlegs was my only mission in life
definately a big influence in my life nirvana told me that there was an option to mainstream music and culture and this has now become a major focus finding fringe culture and exploring independent different music that takes chances and pushes the limits
