Cheryl Girls Aloud
Girls Aloud are planning a spoof-style horror movie along the lines of Scary Movie, and they're writing it themselves!

The group's Nadine Coyle (the Irish one that does the lion's share of the singing) told a popular tabloid newspaper: "We're all very big horror fans. But we can't actually do a real horror film as it would be an 18 certificate and a lot of our fans wouldn't be able to watch it."

Ginger minx Nicola Roberts added: "The script is still in the early stages but one of the most important ideas is that Girls Aloud are not portrayed as mindless bimbos. In our film the girls will come out on top but there will be a twist."

Mindless bimbos or not, what we want to know is if there will be any scraps set in toilets, and if the filming counts towards Cheryl Tweedy's community service?

Auteurs, singers... no end to their talents

A spoof horror movie aimed at 12 year olds with no violence, a lack of decent gore and a bunch of pop ladies... will it feature the mondless zombie husks of the members of One True Voice, desperately locked into a cycle of bloodlust and frenzied warbling? Will Richard E Grant turn up after his wonderful portrayal of a nobody in the SPice Girls movie? Will there be cumshots?

It's all too exciting to comprehend. They should remake the Italian Job instead and set the Pop King himself, Mr Jonathan King, the task of filling Noel Coward's role as Mr Bridger.

No, now you *do* need good advice

I like the idea that they don't write their own songs but they feel they're already capable of writing an original screenplay around them. Reminds me of when the S Club 7 film was first being talked about and Jo described it as being 'based on our lives but funnier, like Spinal Tap'. It was at that time that Christopher Guest dug a grave in his back garden, carefully got into it and started spinning.

I THINK THE MOVIE IS GONIG TO BE A COOL FILM BECAUSE THE GIRLS HAVE GOOD CREATIVE MINDS SO THE IDEAS WILL BE FLOODING FROM ALL OF THEM SO THE FILM WILL A GREAT HIT AND I WILL GO AND SEE IT AS SOON HAS IT COMES OUT!!!!!

I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE LEAVE CAPS ON TO GET PEOPLE TO LOOK AT THEIR USUALLY ANNOYING POST, LIKE THIS ONE AND THE ONE ABOVE. I think that there will be lots of original scripting init, and they will only use there non bimbo minds to make a film. But then i also feel like the sentence i just wrote was a big pile of shit. Keep up the shit work girls, mabey you'll get some people with no taste in good films or music to watch it!!!
