Nelly Robbed During US Awards

There was trouble at the 2003 Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday night, but not at the ceremony itself.

Whilst artists including Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Nelly and Jewel were picking up their gongs, burglars were breaking into the nearby Aladdin Hotel, where a number of artists were staying. Nelly and Michelle Branch were among the victims of the burglaries, with the plaster-faced rapper losing around $1 million worth of jewellery. Branch reported a personal computer as stolen. Local police are still investigating.

The Radio Music Awards recognise the artists responsible for the most-played songs on US radio. Other winners included Avril Lavigne, Tim McGraw and John Mayer.

"rapper losing around $1 million worth of jewellery"

Damn that's bad; and I thought people losing lives in africa due to not having enough money and food to *survive* off was a tragedy.

Can't these people get some kind of integrity and repsect for people other than themselves? Obviously not.

Re: Arseholes

You don't mean a thing if you ain't got that bling.

Oh, and great username... possibly one of my favourite Unbelievable Truth songs.

Re: Arseholes

Respect to you for appreciating Unbelievable Truth sire…. Finest Little Space is one of the best songs they ever made, agreed :-). The live version is the best for sure...

Bling bling mofo, I'm now officially richER... than YOW!

what a shame...

Imagine, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. No really to be serious who gives a shit? He can just go out and buy some more can't he? At least he can afford to eat and drink.
I didn't realise there were other unbelievable turth fans around. Higher than reason is still an ace track, but the album which it's off is good too.

oh common people if you got a bunch of your stuff stolen by a random person you'd be annoyed to, even if you could afford to buy some more.
