Christina Aguilera is to return to record-releasing ways this summer, with an album that's said to contain more than a hint of jazz.
The wee pop gal has also roped in Big Boi and Nas to contribute to her new album, Back To Basics, which features a lead track called 'Still Dirrty'. Hmmm...
Her producer spoke to MTV.com:
“People thought she could sing before – well, you haven’t heard anything yet. It’s definitely a risky record. It’s not Stripped (her last record) – she’s in a completely different space."
Outer space? Cos that'd be hard to record in, y'know...

she'd better have some augmented 9ths in it
or i refuse to consider it as jazz.
is there gonna be any improv?
well??? nah doubt it.
i'd love it if she did an extended
skat solo "diddle diddle doop doop da diddly..."
maybe she could get that delightful fred durst in and do a cover of wonderful world.
yeah but
i wouldn't.
might catch something unpleasant
what
an absolute trianwreck of a human being
"skat solo" ?
just be careful what you ask her to do - she's dirrrrrrrty remember?
bet she smells like salty garbage.
peter griffin, you are a gift to the world.
mouseketeer jazz?
so she's going to butcher Summertime for the 'cred' - that'll be a riot
although it's nice to know they're letting her park closer to the studio now...
