Another scandanavian is about to take over your world. Even Johansen aka MAGNET who duets on his album dis-rated 4/5 album 'On Your Side' with silky-irish singer songwriter Gemma Hayes , is doing a UK tour, starting next week, make sure you pop along.

Hey! Thanks for the tip-off on this one. I saw him supporting Ed Harcourt earlier this year and it was top, so I went down to Borders (Bristol) tonight. He turns out to be a really nice bloke too - I bought a copy of the album and got it signed.

As you say, more free gigs would be a good thing. I looked at some of my old tickets today (yep, I'm sad enough to retain them) and it's shocking how much gig prices have increased, so this sort of thing can only be welcome.

And tomorrow... I'm seeing Elbow for free! They're doing a tiny show in Bristol. There's a bar with free Jack Daniels too. Life is sweet...
