Route Of Kings concerts under threat

The Jools Holland concert has already been cancelled, while the other fat shows featuring Blue, Roxy Music and Simply freakin' Red are waiting to discover their fate.
Apparently a Royal Parks spokesman said that promoters Triple A hadn't yet made a first payment, necessary to get the license, although it was also pointed out that negotiations were ongoing.
More interesting is the rumoured payment by Triple A to an unknown person, who offered them a supposed "twenty-five year licence" with one previous owner - supposedly the Hyde Park-based Star Trek exhibition. If - as alleged - this deal was completely non-legit and the person has legged it with the cash, then Triple A have truly been scammed in a rather impressive manner.
The Royal Parks insist any dispute will not affect Party In The Park, Pride or planned Bon Jovi and Shania Twain concerts.
