Bright Eyes, YYYs feature on Wichita anniversary CD
'Gone Fishin', is released on 21 July and will feature music by every act to have shacked up with Wichita so far. The release marks the label’s three-year anniversary.
Among the artists appearing on the CD will be Yeah Yeah Yeahs, My Morning Jacket, Bright Eyes, Desaparecido and The Pattern. Nice. Wichita was launched by Dick Green and Mark Bowen following the closure of Creation Records in 2000.
In another example of clearly-better-than-you-ness, ‘Gone Fishin', will retail for £2.99, echoing the release of a similar compilation this year, Chemikal Underground’s ‘Off Our Heads On Skelp’.
The full tracklisting is:
Bright Eyes - 'Bowl Of Oranges'
