this sounds
pretty cool. that is all.
Does sound
good, may pop up on the train for that.
BTW, the Reading Virgin has shut down.
this looks like a jolly day out
beats a sweaty night at FROG any time - let's go!
It does look pretty tempting.
Dive Dive are an excllent and immensely underrated.
Would be interested in seeing the Young Knives too.
that Myspace link doesn't work -
should be http://www.myspace.com/oxfords_arts_fest
This does sound pretty good. I had no idea The Rock of Travolta were still going; it's like the last four years of my life never happened. I did like 'em.
Dustball/Dive Dive were OK, but the singer's voice always annoyed me a bit...
yeah.
But only to extend that front bit out to make the broad street mall like a square.
My dad is a planning officer. heh.
haha
i don't think it will actually be anything like that much..
:x
sorry!
I MEANT
that good..
surely....
this is exactly the same as the punt, except with a few more frilly ideas...
hmmmmmmmm?
and
all-talk.
i'm not really sure what the girl (amy whatever) is trying to do, but she seems to be making it pretty obvious that she's trying to out-do the punt, nightshift, ETC.
hm.
trot
their first gig with a significantly changed line up was last thursday
apparently they're still good
are you
who i think you are?
if so: hi!!
yeah
...it also seems a little unfair that this thing is overshadowing the punt, i mean many of the bands mentioned in the article played it at one point. the line up got announced today aswell.
haha
an oxford person i actually know!
definitely.
especially because i don't even think those bands will even play. maybe one or even two. but not all of those.
it's really not logical.
Ah
cool.
Thought it was a bit weird that it just closed - didn't think FOPP was taking that much trade from them.
they've played a bunch of gigs this year
i think they're now a four piece?
to be honest,
i don't think many (if any) people outside of oxford would be interested in the punt.
it's all unsigned local bands.
