The Matrix goes Animatrix

The creators of 'The Matrix' have conceived a series of short anime films, to be released on DVD on June 3rd.

The Wachowski Brothers have brought together nine clips in the Japanese anime style, with the voices of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss on two of them.

"Inspired by the visionary action and innovative storytelling that power the trilogy, this spectacularly visual short film series delves deeper into the mind-bending world of 'The Matrix' and the characters who inhabit it," said a spokesperson.
