At last, some sneaky little beggar has made two rare and long sought-after Ryan Adams sessions available to people apart from anally retentive traders. Go forth and search your local P2P sharing resource.

These full-session recordings were sifted through to provide tracks for his 2002 'Demolition' LP, and have been guarded much more closely than his previous session work which has been leaked fairly quickly after recording.

The Suicide Handbook session was recorded in January 2001 in Nashville, and features Adams with longtime Dylan buddy and lap-steel player, Bucky Baxter. The starkness of these tracks led Ryan to flip the script and record the classic pop/rock of his famous 'Gold' album release.

And it was in equal response to this that made him record the 48 Hours session a few days after the final mix of 'Gold' in California, June 2001. These 11 tracks have a countrified folk twangy feel to them.

Another blow to the ebay profiteers!! and if you've had these for ages, whay haven't you been sharing?

This is indeed rather exciting, especially as I have been listening to 'heartbreaker' with renewed fervour. ('classic album' review potentially in the offing, bloated writing fans!)

I've got the pinkheart sessions, but to be honest, they didn't entirely float my boat... I prefer the red wine sodden, beaten puppy dog Adams, generally.

I really lament the downing of audiogalaxy though. The amount of RAdams stuff they had on there was mouth watering. In an anally retentive stylee, of course.

God bless you McKeating. Im interviewing him next time he comes round blightyway, tho.

i am going through the list of everything he's ever written (released and unreleased) and am making cds of the stuff. 6 so far, and no LP tracks on them.

beat that for anal.
