Dandy Warhols: Album In the Monkey House

The fourth Dandy Warhols album will be called 'Welcome To The Monkeyhouse' named after an old Kurt Vonnegut book of short stories (apparently). It's not called 'I Am All Freaks' as was previously wrongly reported here due to the band leaking false information for a giggle or something.

As for guests, Evan Dando (Info on the new solo album from the Lemonheads man here) contributed to 'The Last High' - which you can hear on the cover cd of this months SPIN magazine! - and another track is called 'The Scientist' (erm, didn't Coldplay have a single called that recently?). This only other contributor we've heard about is Nile Rodgers from 70's Disco types Chic who plays a bitta geetar.

According to the official site the album will be out internationally in May and in the United States in July - which coincides with festivals rather well. A track called 'Used To Be Friends' is to be the first single. Single release date when we have it.
