Brighton-based polka-dotted belles The Pipettes are to release their second Memphis Industries single on March 27th.

'Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me' will come on seven-inch and CD, and will also be available as a download. I've never downloaded a thing in my life, factoid. The compact disque version of the song will be backed by what we're told are "Spector-esque acoustic re-workings" of 'Judy', the one about a bully, and 'Dirty Mind'.

The Pipettes also feature on Rough Trade's latest Counter Cutlture double-disc compilation, available TODAY. It got 5/5 in The Metro this morning, for what that's worth...

So, downloading's like having a song, without having it? Like, with no case or owt? Weeeeird.
