Snoop Dogg's mother, Beverly Broadus Green, has established an organisation designed to steer children away from the tempting world of guns and gangs.
Green, an ordained evangelist, has named the organisation The Mother of Entertainers, MOE. Apparently Britney Spears' mother has signed up, as have the mums of Chris Rock, Hilary Duff and Beyoncé.Snoop's mother said that she had always dreamed of being able to help "the kids on drugs, the mothers on crack or mothers who are experiencing domestic violence".
My mother runs a pre-school class in Hampshire. It does not promote guns or gangs, either. She cooks a mean roast, too*.
