Courtney Love's new band are called Bastard, and will feature members of Hole and Veruca Salt.

According to the official Hole website www.holemusic.com, Love has formed a new band, Bastard, with Veruca Salt's Louise Post on lead guitar, Former Hole drummer Patty Schemel and ex-Rockit Girl, Gina Crosley, now of Veruca Salt on bass.

The group enter an L.A. studio next week to begin writing for the Epitaph release. Love says, "We're hoping to make a South of France, AC/DC, fuck-off record."
