If at first you don't succeed; Try Harder

A rather spiffing new label is entering the throes of indie magnificence. Sim, Simon and Al (yes, of Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies fame) are proudly announcing their brand new label and hitting you with the wicked debut 7" from Leicester boys Tired Irie.

'Like. Gentle. Men.' is released on November 28th (review here soon!) following Steve Lamacq-based radio love, with a White Heat club night the day after to launch the crazy beast (and BOYO what a line-up):

Tired Irie are like a glorious mix of Q and not U, Shipping News and some math-pop dream. Dartz! are one of DiS' highlights of this year's In the City conference, with spazzy disco fun and a masked saxohphonist. Foals recently gave DiS a sneak preview of their efforts and to say the least, we were stunned; two ex-Edmund Fitzgerald members, Andrew of YMSS fame and more. Be excited.
