Awesome: B Boys drop fan-filmed flick

A Beastie Boys documentary is to be submitted to the Sundance film festival, in the hope of raising the project's profile prior to any widespread release.

Awesome: I Fuckin' Shot That is the work of some 50 fans, who shot footage of the band on Hi8 cameras during a show at Madison Square Gardens last year. It's directed by Adam Yauch aka Nathaniel Hornblower. The inspiration for the project is said to have come from Yauch's watching of lo-res video clips posted on the band's website by mobile phone-carrying fans.

Not one of the 50 cameras was stolen during the filming.
