What better way to shake off that post-Reading/Leeds hangover than getting well and truly down to some mind-expanding tunes in Bristol this week.
The ever brilliant Max Tundra stars with a DJ set as part of an eclectic bill of "electronica, post-rock, hip-hop and visual arts" at the city's Thekla venue this Thursday (August 29th). Tundra's new album, 'Mastered By Guy At The Exchange', is out next week on Domino.
The night, run by new label Point of Reference, also features appearances by the guitars-n-ambience of Pariah, raw post-rockers Recliner, soundscapists Biskupin and a DJ set from RLF.
Tickets are £5 on the door (£4 adv from Imperial Records and Replay in Bristol) and the fun runs from 9pm until 2am. You know what to do.
