Listen: St Vincent - 'Surgeon'

Earlier this week Annie Clark, aka St Vincent, asked us, although not personally, to tweet the hashtag #strangemercy to unlock a free mp3 from her new record of the same name. Some people have been tweeting frantically, whilst some didn't do so as much. I was a latecomer and only tweeted it a couple of times this morning, good bandwagon jumper like I am.

Anyway, the track has now been unlocked and the track is 'Surgeon'. It can be obtained from the official website of the album. We have unbelievably high hopes for this record, so we hope you haven't let us down, Annie. Of course you haven't. The album itself comes out on 4AD on September 12.
