A new EP from Wild Nothing (great album, very great) has launched a new record label, Warmest Chord. Congratulations to both. The EP is called Evertide and is available as an extremely limited edition (one of 75), though you can also obviously have it as a download. The cover art is below:

You can get yourself a digital copy of the new track by clicking here. It's called 'Your Rabbit Feet', which is the opening track from the three-track EP. The full tracklisting is as follows:
- Your Rabbit Feet
- Golden Haze
- Take Me In
A bit more about the label. Well, it has been founded by people from Rough Trade and Make Mine - who have released records from Suckers, Books and Gold Panda in the past.
“So often now great music gets lost in the maelstrom of all the other new bands with blatant self promotion. We want to give music fans a reason to not just delete tracks that once never budged from their playlist just to make room for the next best thing. Don't just dip your toe in what people expect a music fan to be. Know the lyrics, hum along, wear the t-shirt, tack the poster up on the wall… Have passion for it!”
Ned, another founder of the label says:
“I think a large part of it is creating high quality releases which people will treasure, I don’t want future generations to not have anything physical which shows their love of music or art…sadly it seems to be heading the opposite direction with inventions such as the Kindle and the iPad”
