Last month we told you about Wichita's tenth birthday celebrations and extended our congratulations on this landmark. There were a few special birthday performances announced around the country back then, but details about celebratory happenings in the nation's capital weren't then confirmed. They are now. There will be a four-night run of gigs in the middle of July at London's Garage (if you haven't been since the renovation it's not bad, though the colour scheme is slightly odd) featuring these artists:
July:
12 - Lissy Trullie, Those Dancing Days, Young Legionnaire
13 - First Aid Kit, Peggy Sue, Meg Baird
14 - The Cribs, Sky Larkin, Lovvers
15 - Headliners TBA, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Johnny Foreigner

We genuinely have no idea who the final day's headliners will be, but it'll be something monumental, no doubt. Tickets are priced at £12 for the first two nights and £15 for the final two. They go on sale from tomorrow (Thursday 22) at 9AM from here and here.
As well as these newly confirmed shows, the old ones are still worth going to see. Look below for them:
May:
14 - Brighton: The Great Escape @ Life with Peggy Sue, Sky Larkin, Gold Panda and Dam Mantle
21 - London, Stag And Dagger: Sky Larkin, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Cold Pumas and Dam Mantle
26 - Barcelona, Primavera @ The Apolo: Los Campesinos!, First Aid Kit and Peggy Sue
There has also been a few special releases by Wichita recently, notably on Saturday's Record Store Day. For more information on those visit the official website.
