French Fancies Phoenix have been in town this past week, playing two dates at Camden's Roundhouse - one on Monday and one on Tuesday. Unfortunately I couldn't make it along but by all accounts both shows were meant to be most tremendous.
They popped into BBC 6Music (HELP!) on Monday to play on Lauren Laverne's show and have a bit of a chitter-chatter as well. Thanks go to the BBC, who have let us (not specifically us, mind) embed all three of these clips, the first being 'Lisztomania' and the second one '1901'. They are, I'm sure you're aware, the opening two tracks from Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Featuring acoustic guitars and everything.
And a third and final clip, of Lauren having a natter with them. Think of it as the web equivalent of a DVD extra. Or something. Lauren looks a bit mean pointing that pen, doesn't she?

"Most tremendous" doesn't even go close to describing how on form Thomas and the team were on Monday. Love Like A Sunset - wow, just wow.
