London's lovely setting of Somerset House and their associates have announced the first lot of headliners for their Summer Series, which takes place over the course of 10 or so days in July this year. It's not as good as last year, in all honesty, but still worth a quick gander, like.
So far what has been announced looks like this, with two more dates To Be Announced. I'm going to take a punt and guess that the two unfilled dates will be filled by...ummm...Grizzly Bear and...Phoenix, though I haven't even had a look at their tour schedules, so it is a genuine stab in the dark.
July 8 - Mystery Jets
July 9 - Air
July 10 - Noah & The Whale
July 11 - N-Dubz
July 12 - The Temper Trap
July 13 - The XX
July 14 - TBA
July 15 - Florence + The Machine
July 16 - Corinne Bailey Rae
July 17 - TBA
July 18 - Soul II Soul
Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9AM this Friday, March 26. They are priced between £20 and £27.50 PLUS booking fee. More information can be found here and ticketing related goings on can be undertaken at this web address. I don't think you could pay me £20 to go to any of those
Other than maybe The XX?
I'd just want my travel expenses backdated in return for that one...
How can you say that
it's not as good as last year when Soul II Soul are playing the final night. That's the Summer sorted in one night.
Agreed
N Dubz!?
Did everyone else
forget Corinne Bailey Rae was alive too?
The Divine Comedy
will be playing on the 14th.
